Detection Periods for Drugs of Abuse

The following chart gives the approximate detection times for each substance in the human body by
using the cutoff guidelines of The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association
(SAMHSA). The test results can vary due to amount and frequency of use, body mass, age, individuals
health, metabolic rate and drug tolerance levels. Our tests are qualitative (positive/negative) so any
positive results should be retested with a second Gas Chromatography test before an actual positive
result is announced.
